Small thumb sized corals found in Niue immediately showed their graphic potential.  The patterns, forms, shapes washed from the reef.

Photographed and left in situ, objects and time fixed.  The substantially enlarged images were manipulated and layered to create an ongoing series of prints, a record of place and time. 

The larger Coral Series works are digital pigment prints and the smaller Avatele Series are etchings on copper made with a light sensitive photopolymer film.

The corals used for the images were originally photographed at Avatele beach in Niue .
